I’m Ed Cox and here are some things you should know about me.

I’m a Welshman, now settled in Manchester.

I’m a social entrepreneur. I’m a shareholder in FC United, a fan-owned football club, a member of The Co-operative and a contributing farmer to the National Trust’s MyFarm project. I also microfinance enterprises in developing countries using Kiva and education using Vittana.

I set up Reason Digital with my business partner, Matt Haworth, in 2008 to help socially-motivated organisations do a little good using the Web. Here’s some of our work.

I’m a digital communicator and I specialise in nonprofit communications: how charities and public sector organisations can increase their reach and improve their social impact using the Internet.
